The Ramble Collective
We’re on a mission to create pathways to purpose and community for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a Boulder-based nonprofit organization, our innovative programs create employment opportunities and facilitate access to affordable housing where adults with IDD can thrive in community.
You can support us as we turn disabilities into possibilities: shop for something special at one of our Ramble stores, spread the word about what we do, or make a donation to support our cause.
The Collective

Ramble Opportunities
Our apprentice program provides paid-work experience, training and job placement services for individuals living with IDD. We provide our apprentices with on-the-job training in our retail stores, strengthening the hard and soft skills required for competitive, integrated employment. After our apprentices complete this program, we work with our graduates to secure a job and help them sustain independent employment.

Ramble on Pearl
Our flagship clothing boutique, located in the heart of Boulder, offers new, premium-quality women’s and men’s active lifestyle clothing and accessories. This store hosts Ramble Opportunities, our apprentice program for adults with IDD where we provide paid, on-the-job training and job placement services. At our store, every purchase has an impact!

Ramble Marketplace
Our brand new, Boulder-themed gift shop offers a broad range of curated products by locally-based artisans and brands as well as gift collections for retail and corporate customers alike. This new store allows us to expand the capacity of our apprentice program, while providing alternative on-the-job training opportunities. This expands the variety of skills our graduates offer local employers. We’re the perfect place to get Boulder-Born gifts and make an impact at the same time!

Ramble Community Connections
Collaborating with Boulder Housing Partners and other local organizations, Ramble Community Connections assists adults with IDD access quality, community-based and affordable housing. We are expanding our Ramble Community Connections program to include a range of events, activities and classes that create opportunities for people of all abilities to develop sustainable, natural relationships and thrive within our community.
Our Impact

Ramble Opportunities
Since our founding, 42 individuals have participated in our programs and 32 have secured independent community employment while some still train and work at Ramble.
